97 stands for the year 1997 we completed the course BS Computer Engineering at University of the Immaculate Conception.
Where are you working now?
Most of us work in the Philippines although many of us have worked in different places like Manila, Cebu, Subic, Batangas and other locations. There are also some of us who are working abroad such as United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Singapore, United States, United Kingdom, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Canada and South Korea.
What type of jobs do you have now?
We have a variation of jobs: college professors, web developers, mainframe programmers, sales engineers, product managers, system analysts, project managers, technical support engineers, corporate accounts head, marketing engineers, multimedia artists, administrative assistant, network engineers, Websphere administrator, QA analysts, machine operator, service engineer, system administrators, assistant supervisor and system engineers. There are also those who chose a little different from the mainstream careers such as police officers, army officer, band vocalist or plain housewives.
Why did you build this web site?
The author initially built a few web sites with photos and news updates out of hobby. But there came the passion of keeping all of us together through the Internet. As years rolled, many of us fled to other places and a creative way to bridge the distance apart from the Yahoo Groups is to build this web site.
